![]() The Many: What is a drop of rain, compared to the storm? What is a thought, compared to a mind? Our unity is full of wonder, which your tiny individualism. Unsurprisingly both are very quotable compared to your typical game villain. The Many and Shodan are well crafted antagonists with an interesting narrative. Yes but unfortunately Prey has none of the charm of SS2. Bioshock just goes "here's everything, have your fun". It's what I like about SS2 - the effort I put in to building my character and my playstyle is unique and rewarded. I don't mean as in limiting your weapon slots, which is a total cop out, but when building your character make them have never used shotguns but a lot of experience with pistols.īioshock is much more fluid, where as SS2 is rigid and has quite a lot of structure to the choices you make about your character. If taking the lightning plasmid meant you couldn't take fire, and if having the shotgun meant you couldn't take the pistol, then that would provide more meaningful build diversity. SS2 isn't afraid to lock you off from things and content, which is what makes it the game it is. You have all the tools you need all the time. The weapon wheel of Bioshock is a great example. ![]() Meanwhile, the way you move through the world of SS2 is heavily dependent on what your character can and can't do. It's not a knock on the game - it has a much heavier action focus and that is one of its points of difference. There's very little in the game that is impacted by your character choices, and every character has the opportunity to get basically the same stuff. I mean that your existence in the world of Bioshock is barely impacted by your build. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
